Casa Favorito is located right on the Pacific beach of El Transito in Nicaragua. The town is sleepy to say the least, and offers guests the opportunity to unwind and relax. There are strong currents on this coasts and families are advised to keep a controlled eye on the kids if planning on swimming in the ocean.

Your Hosts
Gwen and Doug Sawchuck are self-declared world citizens, having lived and worked all of the planet. Drawing on several decades of experience, they have created a wonderful property in a very unique and mostly undiscovered location.
Gwen intends to run cooking classes for the local employees who will be taught by a handful of private chefs who will cater for guests on a rotational basis. Giving back is high on the agenda and this couple have been welcomed with open arms into the community, who are looking forward to the new guests staying at Casa Favorito.

Spectacular House, location and view… But the Best part of all is the service, Gwen and her Team completely makes you enjoy your vacations.
This is definitely top notch accommodation with a million dollar view. My husband and I were on the upper level on Jan 29th with an unobstructed view of the ocean . The sunset was beautiful and we very much enjoyed the beach walks a few steps away from the door. We were treated to a delicious dinner and breakfast prepared by the in house staff. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.The on site pool was a refreshing retreat in the mid afternoon sun. I would strongly recommend Casa Favorito for anyone looking for peace and quiet while enjoying luxury accommodation. Good luck Gwen in your new venture.
