Please contact us directly to check availability for our dog-friendly rooms. Please note there is a small additional charge of £10 per dog per night. Bring your dogs with you. Dogs are also welcomed in the bar, snug and external dining areas. Assistance dogs are welcomed throughout the building. We have a range of pet accessories available, please ask at reception for further information. Breakfast is served in our glass atrium every morning from 8.00am-10.00am. Food Service Times 10am – 12 noon – morning coffees and pastries The Three Crowns was built long before the invention of the motorcar so on-site parking is limited. We have a total of 10 spaces for our 21 rooms. Our on-site spaces are allocated to the following room types and we endeavour to mark these spaces with the name of the arriving guest. We respectfully request that all guests comply with these parking arrangements. On–street parking in the marked bays in Chagford is free any time after 15.00 through to 11.00 hours* the following day. There is a very reasonably priced pay and display car park nearby. It is approximately 50 meters away from our front door costing less than £3.00* for a 24–hour period. We are fortunate to have the few spaces we have as none of the other hotels or inns within the town have any private on–site parking at all! The Three Crowns aim to remind all guests of the parking arrangements in the booking confirmation email and, again, in the pre-stay email providing a valid email address has been provided during the booking process. We regret that we cannot offer parking for non-residents. Users of the parking spaces at The Three Crowns do so at their own risk. The comfortable cosy snug and bar located in the oldest part of the building are full of character. There is a huge inglenook fireplace complete with a log fire that’s kept burning every day of the year! The inn is traditionally decorated with soft lighting, slate floors, exposed granite walls, and antique prints. You will be able to sit back, relax and enjoy an extensive range of drinks including Chagford’s largest selection of locally sourced drinks including wines from Devon, real ales, and ciders. Located just off the glass atrium, the Library is a perfect place for a pre or post-dinner drink or simply to chill out in one of our sumptuous sofas! The Three Crowns is a very popular venue choice for functions and special occasions. The glass atrium and library can be booked for exclusive use for small weddings, private parties, wakes etc. To discuss hosting an event, please contact the reception and we’ll be happy to help.
